Cooooookies

We try to make sugar cookies for the holidays which turns out to be about once a year! It usually happens when the kids are playing in the cabinets and come across the massive box of cookie cutters. This year that fell on Halloween! Making cookies with a 3 yr old brings new light to the table. He had more fun dusting flour into his lap and on his brothers head! He was ready to decorate them after he cut them out of the dough. He got bored about half way through and decided to make a witches brew out of what he found laying around the sink! Brody on the other hand just sat at our feet and kept saying "EAT", he knows when were in the kitchen we're making something and he doesn't turn down anything to eat! He waited patiently for a finished product and disappeared after that. Its not very hard to find him though, just follow the crumb trail.

Halloween Party

We went to a neighborhood Halloween party with Angie(my sis-in-law) family. In Texas and in Utah Halloween fell on a pretty chili night. Utah is famous for the first snow on that night and I would freeze my butt off!!! That being said, I got the boys really warm costumes this year not even thinking about it. We made it into the door of the party and my kids were already panting and sweating:( poor things, but I did manage to get a few pics! I dont know exactly what they're gonna be on Halloween night. I'm sure Bradynn wont protest to pulling out the old Spiderman costume for the 3rd year in a row! I'm sure dressing my little puppets up is more fun for me than them!

A week in New Orleans

So, as most of you know, my sister lives in New Orleans. When we made the move to Orlando it was decided (by me of course) that I would fly my mom out to TX and her, myself, and the little ones would drive! I wanted to drive because I could stop and see Brandi and her fam. Great decision on my part because we had the best time ever. I kept extending my stay for a couple more days! We didn't want to go. My nephew Damion, and my son are very close and inseparable. My brother in law had season tickets to the Saints games and gave them to Brandi and I for the big RAIDERS vs. SAINTS game. We had the best time. Our dad would have been proud that we attended the Raiders game! He's smiling from heaven;)
